Our Mission To reduce the rate of animal euthanasia through the promotion of animal adoptions, the rescue of healthy animals, the provision of temporary foster homes and the promotion of Spay and Neuter programs. Our Organization We are organized as a non-profit Tennessee Corporation, in the form of a Society with members and Officers. We are classified as tax exempt by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c)3 of the IRS Code. Our members and volunteers provide all of our services and support without pay. Our Programs We rescue animals from life-threatening or neglecting situations. They then go to live in one of our "Foster Homes" until they can be adopted. They receive veterinary care, as needed, and are spayed / neutered. They then are placed for adoption. We also support the management of feral cat colonies.
