Bethany Christian School is a ministry of Bethany Bible Church, and accommodates students in grade levels 1-12 using the Accelerated Christian Education
Ó curriculum. The school has been a member of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) for 10 years. Parents with students that are interested in enrollment may make an appointment for an interview.
Our Three-part Goal -
As an extension of the Christian home, we have the following three-part goal for each student:
1.) To receive training and education in order to become functional, productive, contributing members within the sphere's of God's designated authority of the home, the church, and the government; 2.) To know how to live in a right relationship with God and with other people; 3.) To learn the foundational skills of learning, communication, and technology in order to successfully function in today's society.Key Distinctives:
The Curriculum Is Individualized.
Each new student receives diagnostic testing in order to discover learning gaps, and academic placement in each subject. Because students are working on their performance level, and because of the high staff-to-student ratio, each one is able to advance at his or her maximum achievement rate. A high percentage of students achieve honor roll status each quarter.
School Uniforms
This helps create a sharp, and inoffensive environment, and help focus attention on the inner, rather than the outer, person
. Student uniforms are described in the student handbook.Back To Basics With Enrichment
The morning hours are used to concentrate on the academic subjects of Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and Word Building; and the afternoons are filled with elective classes, such as, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Creative Writing, Speech, Journalism, Computer Science, Arts and Crafts, Art, Physical Education, and other enrichment subjects.
Activities and Field Trips
Friday activity field trips taken on a periodic basis give students opportunity for bowling, roller-skating, kite flying, fun at a local park, tours of local manufacturing companies. etc.. Students achieving Honor Roll are eligible for full day trips to museums, the zoo, etc. in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, and other cities.
Interscholastic Sports
Students in the Junior and Senior High School level may participate on teams in basketball.

Bethany Christian School was started in 1993 as a ministry of Bethany Bible Church under the direction of Pastor and Mrs. Adams. The size of the student body has varied from 17 students in the first year to 60 students last year. We are currently limiting the student body size to 27 students.
Home School Assistance
We desire to encourage home schooling. However, due to staff limitations we are limited in the ways we can help. We can help families set up using the ACE curriculum, and suggest ideas that can be helpful. Home schoolers on the Junior and Senior High School level are invited to participate in our extra-curricular sports program. We have an instrumental ensemble, and students that have their own instruments are invited to participate.
