DOCTRINAL STATEMENT SUMMARY

The following is a summary of the basic truths that we believe. A fuller statement is in our Constitution, which is available upon request.

We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Word of God. We believe that there is one true God who eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We understand the Bible literally and dispensationally.

We believe that God the Son became man, without ceasing to be God, by virgin birth. He accomplishes redemption through His death on the Cross. He rose from death and continues to this day at the right hand of God as intercessor for the believer.

We believe that God the Spirit indwells every believer, He is their Comforter, and it is the privilege for every believer to be filled with the Spirit. He restrains evil in the world, and bears witness to the truth of the Gospel.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but in Adam's fall he inherited a sin nature and became totally depraved. Consequently, he is unable to remedy his condition and is without excuse or hope apart from the grace of God.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins; and that each believer must maintain a life-style consistent with Scriptural teachings, including baptism by immersion.

We believe that the believer is eternally secure in Christ and has the privilege of assurance of salvation. The Church is comprised of all that truly believe. We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and a literal millennial Kingdom in Israel.
