Wentzlaff was called to serve here in Fort Mohave in 2000 after
graduating from Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary.

† Our Church
Family of God Lutheran
Church & School is a member of the Evangelical
Lutheran Synod
(ELS), in fellowship with the
(WELS) Wisconsin Evangelical
Lutheran Synod.
Our
congregation was organized in May 26, 1991. We were further
blessed in 1992 with a new church building and fellowship hall. In 2003
we increased the size of our church. In an effort to spread God's Word
even further into the community a Christian Day School was started in
2005.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and that the
one and only true God is the Triune God. We subscribe to the Lutheran
Confessions, and believe that all people are sinners, deserving of
God's wrath. But, through faith in Jesus Christ alone we receive
forgiveness, salvation and everlasting life.
With
thanksgiving we come before God in worship and praise for His
goodness as we continue to do our best to do His holy will.
