3-4 Year Old Preschool Teacher
 † Michelle Schaffer
is a graduate from Michigan Lutheran
Seminary and has been
attending Delta College in University Center, MI,,
focusing on early Childhood Development. Michelle is the younger sister
of our Elementary school teacher, Amanda Schaffer and also grew up in
Chesaning MI.
Michelle attended a
Lutheran grade school where she was taught God's Word and the
importance
of in our everyday life. She havs been working as a
preschool Aide for the past year,
and is ready to take on our 3 year olds. Michelle loves being
around children and helping them learn.
"I
plan to teach the children the value of God's love, and
also give them a great foundation to begin their education. I look
forward to seeing all of you this next school year!!!"

4-5 Year Old Preschool Teacher
 † Patty Abraham grew up in
Bullhead City, Arizona and has been a member of Family of God Lutheran
Church
for over sixteen years. She graduated with her
Associates Degree in General Studies with an Emphasis in Education in
2007.
With the completion of her degree and two years working under the
esteemed Linda Martin (formerally at Young Scholars), Patty began the
wonderful
world of Christian Education in 2007. Along with her new position as
preschool
teacher, Patty also teaches piano lessons for the students
after school.
As the teacher of your Little
Lambs, her goal is to teach the children about our Savior's Love for
them while instilling the love of
learning, help them develop social skills, work both as a team
and independently, and to meet each child's needs academically so they
can reach their full potential.

1st-4th Grade Teacher
 † Amanda Schaffer is
a graduate from Martin Luther College (Lutheran teachers college)
in New
Ulm, MN. Amanda
majored in physical education and earned a Bachelors degree in
education.
Amanda grew up in Chesaning, MI. where she attended a Lutheran day
school, and was taught the importance of learning about the love
of God every single day.
As the 1st-2nd grade teacher she
plans
to impress that same value,
along with the child's social, physical, and academic needs. With
the Lord's guidance, Amanda will provide an appropriate atmosphere
for learning which will revolve around the Love of God.
Miss Schaffer is available to
teach piano
lessons for students
before & after school.

Kindergarten Teacher/School Director
 † Stephanie Wentzlaff comes to our school with over
18 years in the teaching profession. From teaching Kindergarten, to
running an in home Preschool, to being a Director of a Child Care
Center, and eventually homeschooling 3 teenaged students.
Mrs. Wentzlaff is right at home here at Family of God Lutheran School
and Little Lambs Lutheran Preschool, where her husband has been the
Pastor for the past 7 years. She was the music director at the school
the first two years of operation. She is
now the Director of our school and the Kindergarten class teacher,
Mrs. Wentzlaff wants to teach the children of this community
about God's
love for them, give them a solid educational foundation, all, while
having the time of their lives! |
