the one i love i just have found
by god's grace our love abounds

our spirits touch, our hearts combine
to form a new person, a whole new life

we long for each other's caress
a loving touch we each like best

i hope for the future, for what we will be
and i hope for ourselves, so that we may see

that we are meant for each other
a divine love above all the others

i thank god each and every day
for allowing us together to stay

and i do thank god for telling me
that i now have finally become ready

to become a leader, to become his voice
as i follow the life he made my choice

and i hope that i can work for him
and also keep his trust within

for i will do my best, as only i can
