in the Christmas spirit with a musical shows tour to Southern California. First,
to Escondido and the Welk Resort where we’ll enjoy A Christmas Carol - The
Musical and overnight nearby. Next day, we’ll visit Carlsbad and the Museum
of Making Music, which explores the history of musical instruments in the US
from 1890 to the present. After time for lunch and light shopping in Carlsbad,
we’ll proceed to Buena Park where we’ll stay for the next two nights. That
evening, we’ll enjoy dinner and the “Holiday Follies” Christmas revue at
Tibbie’s Cabaret aboard the Queen Mary. On Saturday, we’ll have a guided tour of
the amazing Crystal Cathedral. The fitting final show of the tour will be the
Glory of Christmas pageant at the Crystal Cathedral, where actors and live
animals tell the story of Christ’s birth with song, dance and narrative. It’s a
moving and inspirational telling of the Christmas story. The next day we’ll
travel back to Lake Havasu with a stop for lunch and a stop at Hadley’s Fruit
