DURANGO, SILVERTON & SOUTHWEST COLORADO

Depart from Lake Havasu en
route to Gallup, NM, our first overnight stop. The next morning, we travel to
Mesa Verde National Park and marvel at the ancient cliff dwellings during our
3-hour guided tour. Durango,
Colorado will be our home for the next two nights. We’ll board the Durango &
Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad the next morning for an exciting steam-train
journey from Durango to Silverton, both gold and silver mining towns dating from
the 1880’s. A mid-afternoon return to Durango on our bus will give everyone time
to further explore downtown Durango. The next day, we’ll travel to Ouray and
stop for lunch and shopping in Telluride, an historic mining town turned ski
resort. After an overnight rest in Cortez, we’ll travel to Monument Valley for a
scenic stop, then lunch at Goulding’s Lodge and Trading Post, a favorite for
John Ford movies starring John Wayne. Our last night will be at Little America
in Flagstaff with dinner and a continuous musical show from talented Northern
Arizona University students at Black Bart’s. This is a spectacular tour! Call
