Hoover Dam is an interesting place. I never imagined that I would work there one day.
For the last ten years I've worked for Hoover as a Telecomm Specialist. I do have an
interesting position. I am Hoover's only employee that does not work inside the Dam.
I'm stationed 150 miles down river at Parker Dam. I am Hoover's 'outside' technician.
My duties take me from Laughlin Nevada to roughly 40 miles above Yuma Arizona. Area
wise - about 150 miles of the Colorado River. In this region are three Reclamation
Dams, communication sites and numerous gauging stations. All have 'high tech' equipment
that I support.
