Hello! My name is Dustin Hartsel Bryant. My hometown is Welch, WV in McDowell County. My birthday is September 3, 1986. I graduated from Mount View High School on May 28, 2004. I graduated with High Honors. I was an active member of the National Beta Club. I was the WV Spelling Grand Champion at the National Beta Club Convention held in Charleston, WV in November 2002. I attended The American Legion Mountaineer Boy's State program from June 8th through June 14th, 2003. Click here to see a photo of my group. I am in the front row, third from the right. Then I attended the WV Governor's Honors Academy from June 29th through July 20th at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. I had a great time there and made a lot of new friends! While there we went on a tour of Washington, DC! I went on to win a $40,000 McKelvey Foundation Scholarship. I had planned to attend Marshall University but the McKelvey Foundation Scholarship is only accepted by certain schools, and Marshall is not one of them. So, I will be attending Concord College in August 2004. They will be changing their name to Concord University in July 2004. I also received a Governor's Honor Academy Scholarship from Concord, the Promise Scholarship, a WV Higher Education Grant and a Federal Pell Grant. Here are some of my Senior pictures.
