San Juan Island, WA

Bareboat Charter Vacation ~ 2006

Alan and Jackie and Jackie's sister, Patty and her husband, Ken, chartered a 41 foot powerboat from Anacortes Yacht Charter in Washington state in June.  We cruised the San Juan Islands for 7 days and nights.  The boat was wonderful, the charter company great and the views were spectacular.  Lots of good food, some great hikes, a few good sunsets and lots of peace and quiet.  Not many other boats in most coves, although the hot spots like Friday Harbor had quite a few.  Looked for whales each day, but didn't see even one.

Here is a link to a chart of the area including our route.
