1947-49 Studebaker Convertible |

Unknown Owner This primered "convertible" was photographed at the Good Guys show in Del Mar, CA in 2004. The windshield has been chopped and it looks like the wind wings and the rear windows have been eliminated. This car may have started life as a two door sedan. It has a 1950 front end but the dash looks like it may be from a 50 also. The earlier rear fenders could have replaced the 50 fenders and this may very well be a 1950 Studebaker. It has a wild red interior and I wonder if the owner has a Carson Top for it? This car has a nice look to it and the painted steel wheels with beauty rings are a nice touch. The owner is proud enough of his engine to open the hood. Wonder if it has a hopped up flathead six in it? |
