This wicked looking 1951 Studebaker Champion "convertible" may have once been a Starlight Coupe. It's sitting mighty low and the front wheel openings look like they have been modified, perhaps for wheel clearance while turning. I also think the rear fenders have been widened if you notice how narrow the rear bumper looks. It no longer wraps around the body. The hood has a small scoop mounted at the rear and those side pipes hint that it may have a different engine.

The owner of this car has installed a later model curved dash but added the original Studebaker cluster along with some additional gauges. I wonder if this is a work in progress or if it's as done as it will get ......
