1950 Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupe |
|
|
Unknown Owner(s) I'm not sure if this is the same car in all photos but it sure looks like it is. The pictures of the car in the first 2 photos were taken in San Diego, CA at the Goodguys Show in May of 2006. It has a radical chop, Commander headlight rims and 52 taillights. The back bumper has been removed and the California license plate is recessed under the trunk lid. It looks to have chrome rims with baby moon hubcaps and aerodynamic aftermarket side view mirrors. |

| The car on the right appeared
for sale on Hot Rod Hot Line's website in August of 2006 and looks to be
the same car as above. With the exception of some nice flames, different
pinstriping and bullets on the hub caps, the other features like the
Commander headlights, side view mirrors and 52 taillights lead me to
believe it's the same car. Even the exhaust exiting in front of the back
wheels is the same. The car is now located in New York and the asking
price is $37,500.
Features advertised are Camaro sub frame, Chevrolet 350, TH400 trans, tilt column, custom steering wheel, Lokar Shifter, power steering, power disc brakes, custom dash with VDO gauges, has heat and is set up for A/C, AM/FM/CD player, custom tweed interior, finished trunk, Corvette IRS, 15” & 14” smoothies with bullets and dual exhaust. |
