HAIL STORM May-03   The hail did not cause the kind of overall damage to buildings and cars as the storm in '02 , but it was worse for Robert's car. He had about 5,000 in damages instead of $2000. More marble to golf-ball sized stones fell and dimpled every panel on his vehicle. The storm shredded leaves from the trees and damaged plants. A street-sweeper make a pattern in the litter on our street.

	The hail fell at night. By morning, we could still see a drift of hail stone that washed out of the front gutter.
	I put a ruler down to show the size of some of the bigger stones that fell with the marble sized hail.
