| The flush clip on the left is what we are looking for. It has been cast of something like nickel or pot metal. It is solid and has a lower profile than the new pinched-plate metal clip at the right. We do not need more of the newer clips. | |

We only found enough of these storm
window loop & hook sets for two storm windows on our
house -- one or two more may turn up as we search though our old hardware stash, but we want to use them on 14 remaining windows we have to hang -- and we need more hooks for the screens we have yet to build. We found a source for "squared" metal sets, but we would really like to find some like the old set on the left. They look so much better. As you can see, this hardware is a heavy plate metal with deeply embossed screw-holes and rounded or "mickey mouse" corners. Much of the other vintage hardware in our house was from
the Ideal
 Thank you L. L. Price
