Falstaff

I bought this rose at our local Safeway, Feb. 2006, it is a Jackson & Perkins rose. I paid $12.99 for it.

Large, cupped, full-petaled flowers of rich, dark crimson, eventually maturing to a deep, rich purple. These beautiful old blooms are deliciousle fragrant.

My description:

February 2006- I bought the one that had lots of growth on it. I'm putting it in the flower bed in the spot where I had Fourth of July. I'm planting it with coffee grounds and banana peels mixed in the soil. I hope this one does well. The photo is beautiful.
