I thought since I have so much webspace I would just stick pictures in here of some of our home improvements.
We've taken out our wood stove and had a pellet stove installed. This was done on January 31st, 2009. It looks pretty, doesn't it? I love it because we can see the fire.

How about some pictures of my studio. The Studio is our hobby room, our computer is in there, the beer fridge is in there, all my hobbies are kept in there and it is the only room big enough for the quilt frame. Our next improvement is we are putting a smaller wood stove in the studio. The room is never warm in the winter and the new little stove will keep the room nice and toasty. We took out the old woodgrain looked cabinets that used to be in the girls rooms. They are now on the front porch/workshop which Steve just remodeled, too. I'll show that at the bottom when I get done with the Studio. We bought the big white cupboards from Home Depot and ran them along one side of the wall where the old ones were. Steve took out the small cooler since I never used it in the summer. The fan works just as well. Now on to the photos!
This photo is of the computer corner where the family photo corner is and the corkboard wall and the beer fridge. Steve makes beer and kegs part of it so we have beer on tap. No we don't drink a lot just occasionally. We keg the kind we really like and bottle half of it.

This photo shows the new cupboards. They are big enough that they hold all our stuff. The farthest one is Steve's for all his tools & stuff and the other two hold all my stuff, it looks nicer now. You can also see the quilt frame on the left.

This next photo is of the back wall. The wall holds Steve's airplane and the new 32" flat screen TV. The quilt frame is below and you can hardly see it but it covers the whole wall. Out the windows you can see some of my gardens, like the bars? Someone tried to break in my windows last fall so now both windows have bars over them. These two windows will be the last ones to replace and put double paned windows in. We've replaced all the others in the house except the bathroom windows but they aren't high priority.

This picture is of my wall cupboards, paint racks, my sewing center, and my roll top desk that holds stamping stuff. I have tables in the center of the room for crafts and for my paint classes.

This photo of the studio is of the corner where the little stove will go, it used to have shelves to hold all my junk. The shelves will now go in the shed. My Christmas present is also in this photo. My inversion machine is wonderful and stretches my back out nicely.

Here is the little stove. It came yesterday, it is just like our other wood stove but about a foot shorter. The old one had two burner lids on top and this one has only one. The other one is too big for this room so we found a smaller one that we liked.

Here is the wall job, I ended up using three of the left over dark tiles on the floor. It actually looks like a heart and the whole thing turned out very nice.

So, how does it look? It is finally done and usable. It heats my room up nicely.
