Use of the NEW White/Lite Gray Adhesive-Treatment
Although *most* white adhesives are mainly designed for use on Foam, Paper and Frame edges, This new formulation allows it to also work well with many plastics, doing away with the need to use difficult Hexane based, and other types of plastic glues! Kits contain glue in 1/2 or 1 Ounce bottles. A 1oz bottle contains enough glue to refoam about Five 12" speakers, including surrounds, caps & Paper Cone Edge treatment; less if also used to treat entire cones. It may also be used to seal cloth or paper dust caps, or to also to give them a shiny appearance. When Diluted with Water to the consistency of skim milk, this "glue" can be used as a PAPER cone treatment, or "wet look" treatment with more coats. Do NOT coat plastic cones! Only a coat or two is needed to make a fine bond with, or to seal paper. Excessive treatment will not seal any better and will only weigh down the cone! Use it full strength but sparingly when gluing foam to cone edges & frame. Too much glue may make your seams lumpy! Only apply glue to the foam flanges. DO NOT Use This product to treat the Foams' Rolls! Modern foams are already treated. This adhesive may be thinned & cleaned with water til cured.
