TECH FORCE
SS2 OLYMPIC PISTOL
7 inch
Barrel shoots 470 fps. with Daisy pellets Scope Tasco Pro Point 5
plus Red Dot .
The SS2 is very easy to cock, I took a
fish weighing scale, and it took only 9 lbs. to cock the gun, but
not so when the gun is new. When new it is hard to cock,
until you have at lease, shot 3,000 pellets through it. The
gun is very accrete, but the metal parts are
not as hard as the FWB-65 which is a copy of
that gun. The parts will wear out and make it dangers, when
cocking it. Still it is worth the money, and the parts are cheap.
The cocking bear trap should be oiled often, and if a little dirt
and dust gets in the bear trap mechanism, the bear trap may not
engage, and the cocking lever can smash your hand when loading a
pellet. Their is a way to get round this problem, do
not pull the cocking lever all the way up to the cock
position, pull the cocking lever to
about half of the way and then put the pellet into the
breech, when the pellet is in, and then remove your hand,
and then finish cocking to the full cock position. If you load
the gun the way that I stated, it is impossible for the cocking
lever to smash your hand. because you will feel the bear trap
taking hold and know that it is working. If you cock the lever
all the way to the full cock position, and if the piston
hold back sear fails, which can (with wear),
the cocking lever will bypass the safety bear trap and smash or
break your hand while loading the pellet. It did happen to one of our ASR&PA
(air gun division) shooters, .Rada
Plesinger he tells this story even to day,
which happen a quite awhile ago. Thank You: Robert
