Featuring a classic neon sign and a panoramic view of the Hualapai Mountains, the Hill Top Motel beckons to overnight and short-term guests.  Many guests use our location as a central starting point for day trips to local and regional attractions.

Others are new residents moving to the area that need short-term accommodations until their living-quarters are ready for occupancy.  Over the course of the nearly 30 years that I have been associated with the property, it is amazing the number of people who say that they, a relative, or someone they know stayed here when arriving in Kingman.

Our location is in the center of Kingman, but the city is only a few blocks wide here, so one can quickly experience what Nature has given us.  Our rooms have block walls and are set back from the main street. The BNSF Railroad tracks are located down in the canyon and we are located far-away from railroad surface crossings.  The motel retains the historic charm and relaxed lifestyle of a bygone era, however, the rooms have been tastefully upgraded with modern amenities.

Our motel is now included on the www.route66motels.com site.  This is a private site that is maintained as a courtesy to promote Classic Motels on Route 66.  None of the properties are affiliated, and the purpose is to make it easier for "die-hard Route 66 fans" to find period motels that are still in operation.  Checking out the room is always a good idea to help avoid an unpleasant experience.  We often get inquiries from our guests about lodging properties in other cities along Route 66, so this site will provide them with possible options.  SUPPORT THEM AND HELP PRESERVE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF A "VINTAGE" ROUTE 66.

The Route 66 Centennial Geo-caching project is taking shape.  This is an extension of the highly successful local Geo-caching program that recently won a State Award.  The goal is to have (around) 100 sites along the varoius portions of Route 66 in Arizona.  We are intending to have a location on our property.  A site commerating the first street sign in Kingman is at the corner of our block, and is wanted to be included for this project.  It may be a challenge to maintain the suggested 500 foot spacing between sites.
