Friends of the Orchestra

The Lake Havasu Regional Orchestra debuted in the fall of 1976 with 20 musicians. It was the first and only regional orchestra since the city's inception in 1964.

The orchestra is comprised of very talented musicians from Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker, Earp and Needles, CA, including high school and college students. Mohave Community College students not only enjoy the benefit of continuing their musical endeavors, but also receive college credit for playing with the orchestra.

The Lake Havasu Regional Orchestra is a non-profit organization. The musicians do not realize any financial benefit.

Your generosity and concert attendance are greatly appreciated by the musicians. Your gift will be acknowledged in each concert program.

Your tax deductible donation will help support the orchestra's annual scholarship fund for high school students who wish to continue their music education. It will also assist with the rental and purchase of orchestra music, printing expenses, purchase of musical instruments and equipment, and the cost to reserve the Performing Arts Center and the services of the Sound Technician and Custodian.

When you become a Friend of the Orchestra, your involvement can go beyond financial support. You can also be a concert participant. Ticket sales, ushering, publicity, flowers for a soloist or helping with the post-concert reception we call the "After Glow," are just a few ways to play a part in the orchestra's performance.
