When you travel, it’s not just the destination that is important, nor the route, the scenery, or the people you meet along the way. Rather we believe it is the total all inclusive experience of the travel that is important.  

Bartlett Tour’s mission is to ensure that the experience is positive and memorable to each and every traveler on each tour. We pride ourselves in designing and executing tours that meet the needs for enjoyment for all our travelers. A sign that we are successful is the number of repeat travelers. As of May 15, 2012 Bartlett Tours has conducted 171 tours with a total passenger count of over 7300 people. 33 of these tours have been cruises and 36 tours have involved travel outside the borders of the United States. Over 950 of the 7300 have taken multiple tours with Bartlett Tours and more than 500 have  reached Frequent Traveler Status (5 tours or more) and for each 5 tours have earned dinner at Shugrues, Barley Brothers, or Javelina Cantina in Lake Havasu City.

A Short History Of Bartlett Tours

Gordon and Patty Bartlett began Bartlett Tours in early 1993. Their first tour was to Sedona in May 1993 in a rented van from Budget Rent a Car and they drove it themselves. They did 4 more tours in vans (before chartering deluxe motor coaches) with some tours having only 3 passengers. The people that traveled with Gordon and Patty told their friends and neighbors about the terrific experience they had on the Bartlett’s tours and quickly more and more travelers began to book trips with Bartlett Tours. In their first full year they operated 9 tours each with an average of 43 travelers per tour. 

At first tours were limited to Arizona and California. The travelers wanted more and the Bartlett’s responded. In 1993/ 1994 Bartlett Tours operated 11 tours involving 20 days of travel. In contrast Bartlett Tours did 12 tours and cruises amounting to 64 days of travel in 2011.

Bartlett Tours is committed to offering interesting, innovative tours and cruises and the loyal following of travelers continues to respond by reserving early and causing many tours to fill and sell out months in advance.

Although Bartlett Tours is now under the care of Mike and Leeann Keys, the level of tour quality and personal service will continue at the same level as always. Mike and Leeann are committed to excellence and will continue to offer the type of tours that will excite both the new as well as the seasoned Bartlett Tours traveler.
